Duties (Automation Technician):

  • Design Automation Systems
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems and equipment
  • Program and configure industrial control systems to perform specific tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop solutions
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on automation equipment
  • Fabricate and assemble components for automation systems
  • Trouble-shoot PLC, electrical, mechanical, and robotic problems using schematics, programs, meters, and other hand tools
  • Diagnose electrical and electronic problems
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production (off shift, weekends, holidays included)
  • Revises and updates programs and documentation as required
  • Help guide, support, and teach co-workers
  • Any other duties deemed necessary or appropriate

Qualifications (Automation Technician):

  • Experience as an Automation Technician, Industrial Process Technician, or similar role
  • Proficiency in CAD software for designing automation systems
  • Strong knowledge of control systems including Allen Bradley PLCs, RSLogix, ControlLogix, Wonderware, HMIs, VFDs and Networks
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing automation equipment
  • Familiarity with machining processes and mechanical knowledge
  • Knowledge of robotics is a plus

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the assembly of our industrial electrical systems. Duties include all aspects of the electrical build including; inventory control, reading schematics, enclosure cutouts, sub panel assembly, wiring, wire labeling, markers, documentation, and testing of control panels.

Responsibilities (Industrial Control Panel Builder):

  • Assemble / install industrial motor control panels using hand tools and power tools
  • Mounting and wiring components such as VFDs, motor starters, relays, PLCs, and HMIs
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics and recognize components
  • Assemble electro-mechanical components with interconnect wiring
  • Cut, strip, bend, and mount wires to connect electrical units within the panel box
  • Identify and correct malfunctioning installation and/or components using test equipment and hand tools
  • Ensure continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure safety of system
  • Work directly with engineering to resolve issues with layout/build to sustain scheduled delivery

Qualifications (Industrial Control Panel Builder):

  • 1+ year of electrical experience, with proficiency in reading electrical schematics and electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience with electrical wiring, preferably in a panel shop helpful but not necessary
  • Knowledge in using hand tools, power tools, volt meter and other related electrical equipment
  • Must be able to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
  • Must be able to work on multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to stand, stoop and/or kneel for extended periods of time
  • Ability to occasionally left heavy objects
